Overview

About our hotel bed linen

A guest judges a room the moment they sit on the bed. Hibernation bed linen is made for that moment and for everything that happens afterwards in the laundry. Our bed linen collection covers the three pieces every hotel room needs - flat and fitted sheets, duvet covers and pillow covers - in thread counts from 300 to 600.

We work in long-staple combed cotton, in crisp plain white or a woven satin stripe, and finish each piece for commercial use: pre-shrunk (sanforised) fabric, reinforced hems and construction designed to hold its shape through repeated commercial laundering. Every specification can be adjusted to your property, from mattress depth to border style and logo placement.

Care and laundering

Commercial laundering is where hotel bed linen earns or loses its value. As general guidance: launder new linen before first use, follow the wash temperatures agreed with your laundry, avoid overloading machines, and limit strong chlorine bleach, which weakens cotton fibres over time. Rotating stock through a consistent par level also spreads wear evenly. We are happy to discuss your laundry's programme when specifying fabric and finish.

How commercial laundering affects hotel linen

Packaging

Packaging is agreed per order - for example per piece, per room set or in bulk cartons - with labelling to suit your stores or laundry partner.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What thread count is suitable for hotel bed linen?

Most hotels choose between 300 and 400 TC for standard rooms, where durability through frequent laundering matters most, and move to higher thread counts such as 600 TC for suites and luxury rooms. Our thread count guide explains the trade-offs in detail.

Is satin stripe or plain white better for hotels?

Both are hotel classics. Plain white percale has a crisp, matte feel; satin stripe has a subtle sheen and a woven pattern that reads as luxury on a made bed. Many properties use satin stripe for duvet covers and plain weaves for sheets.

Can you manufacture custom sizes?

Yes. Share your mattress, duvet and pillow dimensions - including mattress depth for fitted sheets - and we will size each piece to your beds.

What is the minimum order quantity?

Minimum quantities depend on the product and on how much customisation is involved - a plain white sheet and a logo-embroidered, custom-dyed duvet cover are planned differently. Share your estimated quantities in the quote form and we will confirm the minimum for your specification.

Do you supply hotels outside India?

Yes. Hibernation supplies hospitality businesses in India, the Middle East (including the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Qatar) and Australia & Oceania. Delivery terms are agreed as part of each quotation.
