About our bath mats
A bath mat has to be heavier than a towel: it needs to absorb water from wet feet, lie flat and feel stable on a tiled floor. Hibernation bath mats are woven in a dense, framed jacquard terry - a woven border frames the mat, which helps it lie flat and gives the bathroom a finished look.
Our standard bath mat is 50 x 80 cm at 900 GSM, the top of our bath linen weight range, and it is designed to match our hotel towels so the whole bathroom set is consistent.

Care and laundering
Terry towels keep their softness and absorbency longest when they are not over-dried and not overloaded with fabric softener, which coats the loops and reduces absorbency. Launder new towels before first use to open the loops, keep bleach use controlled, and rotate stock evenly across your par level. Share your laundry's programme with us when specifying GSM and construction.
